Chevy Youth Baseball

Players will break out into age groups and rotate through stations to learn the essentials of hitting, fielding, throwing, and more! Instruction is provided by former or current Major or Minor League players and coaches, Ripken Baseball or MLBPAA professional staff.

CYB clinics with Major or Minor League Teams

In 2018, Chevrolet has partnered with 35 Minor League and 16 Major League Baseball teams to allow CYB Clinic Participants to play in professional stadiums around the country!

CYB clinics with Ripken Baseball, Inc.

Following their retirement from Major League Baseball, Cal Ripken, Jr. and Bill Ripken founded Ripken Baseball, Inc. to continue their father's mission to grow the game of baseball worldwide, in The Ripken Way. Today, the company owns three state-of-the-art facilities located in Aberdeen, Maryland, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Hosting more than 70,000 players & coaches each year, The Ripken Experience facilities bring a Big League atmosphere to each and every participant that walks through the gates. In 2001, Cal & Bill founded the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation in memory of their father, and have since helped children in stressed communities develop rewarding life skills through the game of baseball.

We are not affiliated with a Cal Ripken Baseball League; should we still attend a Chevy Youth Baseball clinic led by Ripken Baseball?

Of course! Chevrolet & Ripken welcome all baseball and softball players (ages 6-14) that are interested in learning the fundamentals behind becoming a better player. It is important to know that the instructors from Ripken Baseball, Inc., are not affiliated with or recruiting for the Cal Ripken Division of the Babe Ruth League.

Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA)

The MLBPAA was formed in 1982 in order to promote the game of baseball, raise money for charity, inspire and educate youth through positive sport images and protect the dignity of the game through former players. A nonprofit organization, the MLBPAA establishes a place where a player's drive for excellence and achievement on the field can continue long after they take their last steps off the professional diamond.

Headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the MLBPAA's membership currently has more than 6,500 members composed of former and current Major League players, umpires, managers, coaches, front-office personnel and fans.

Food Allergies: Unfortunately, our clinics are not structured to account for individual children’s allergic needs, and we cannot guarantee that the environment will be allergen free or that other individuals present at the clinic will not have been exposed to any allergens such as nuts. Furthermore, on site staff is trained for basic first aid as related to the athletic activities, and we cannot guarantee that the staff will be able to recognize or treat an allergic reaction.
